| Our club started out sometime in 1998 as a group of friends, who incidentally all owned minis. Initially we were known as the Mini Mishaps, but changed our name in 2000 to project a more official organization that would appeal to other fellow mini enthusiasts. Our official birthday is celebrated each year at the National Mini Cooper Day at Beaulieu Motor Museum.
